studying Torah is one of the very important forms of Serving Hashem. Please let me translate this in plain English:We received Torah at the Mount Sinai on year 2448,now you may ask what is included in the word "Torah"? the answer:ALL FOUNDATIONS OF MISHNAH AND TALMUD IN HALACHA & AGGADAH, there is so much in both, that was simply handed down generation after generation, even what we call Machlokes is based upon teachings of Sinai.Let me give a concrete example;we know that there is a argument regarding payment of Tomun ;if fire damages objects 'hidden' inside ,say,a hay stalk .We must realize that the 'idea' of Tomun is from Sinai -nobody could ever 'invent' or 'coin' such name. R Judah ,however, limits this Din to an extreme case,e.g. where no one could assume that something is hidden there. But this Din existed among ALL Chachmei Hamishna.

We can go on with many examples thruought Shas-Halacha & Aggadah- to prove & illustrate this.

I want to translate ''studying Torah''.By Repeating aloud, yes, just saying the 'words' of 'Torah' -lets assume you "understand" very little- you are nevertheless serving Hashem --saying Thank You to Him & proclaiming that:WE ARE YOURS.This is the most important function in life & is accomplished very strongly through Talmud Torah,so again,if you love Hashem,go ahead and talk in HIS Torah!
